Oslo Hostel Haraldsheim is a pleasant hostel that offers budget accommodation at Grefsen in Oslo. Nice common areas indoors and outdoors (Internet access and BBQ) and a great view of the city centre and the fjord.

The hostel has 1-4 bedded rooms, many with private bath. Breakfast buffet is included.

Good public transportation to downtown Oslo and The Opera house,  Norsk Folkemuseum (Norwegian Museum of Cultural History),  The old viking ships, The Kon-Tiki Museum, and The Munch Museum among others.

Oslo hostel Haraldsheim is also a great starting point for hikes in Marka (neighbouring woodlands) summer and winter. Please contact the hostel for inquiries about the meeting- and conference facilities.

Also during the winterseason there are several activities for all ages such as Holmenkollen, Oslo ski center Grefsenkollen and Tryvann Winterpark.

Check-in is available between 15:00 and 24:00. Please contact hostel if arriving later. Check-out time is at 10:00.

    Directions to Oslo Hostel Haraldsheim

    Oslo Hostel Haraldsheim is located at Grefsen, 4 km from the city center. By car it is easiest to follow Ring 3 to Storo and then follow the signs to the hostel.

    Four alternative ways to get to Haraldsheim from down town Oslo:
    - Tram 17 to Sinsenkrysset station. Take the tram from JERNBANETOREGET in front of Oslo Central Railway Station. Buy the ticket at Narvesen or 7-Eleven before you get on the tram. The ticket costs an additional NOK 10 if you buy it from the conductor. We Daycardtickets and singletickets at the hostel’s reception as well.
    - Bus 31 from the bus stop right in front of the central railway station to SINSENKRYSSET. Exit the bus, walk to your right and follow the signs to Haraldsheim
    - Local train from Oslo central railway station to Grefsen station.
    - Subway lines 4 and 6 over Carl Berner to Sinsen Station. Exit on Hans Nilsen Hauges gate, walk to the right and then continue straight ahead under Ring 3 (the freeway).

    If you come from Oslo Airport Gardermoen, you may take Flybussekspressen that goes towards Majorstuen, get off at Sinsenkrysset, and go straight to the hostel. The bus departs 2 times per hour back and forth to the airport.
