Moss Hostel is beautifully located next to Lake Vansjø. Here you have the opportunity to enjoy the tranquility or boating, fishing, canoeing, swimming and barbecue nights. The hostel has 14 newly renovated cozy rooms, guest kitchen and living room. Shower and toilet facilities are separated. Please contact the hostel for renting business or group facilities.

Moss is a picturesque city with good trading opportunities and a beautiful restored pedestrian street. The town became a city in 1720, but from 1704 the small city grew rapidly with the company Moss Ironworks, which was built on the northern side of Mossefossen. Today you may visit Konventionsgården, which is the main building at Moss Ironworks. The city also has several art galleries and other happenings throughout the year.

    Directions to Moss Hostel

    By car from E6: Leave the highway E6 and follow sign to Moss/Horten. Drive through the tunnel. After 2 km you should turn left and follow the sign to Nesparken and Mossehallen.

    From E18 and E6 Moss Syd/South: Drive towards “Sentrum” until you reach the sign to Oslo/Elvestad. From here drive 200 m and then turn right towards Nesparken and Mossehallen.

    From Bastø Ferry, which sails between Horten and Moss, and Moss Railway Station do follow the signs towards Oslo, and then go 200 m further towards Nesparken and Mossehallen. Moss is one of the stops on The Østfoldbanen. There are many trains to and from Oslo and Gøteborg in Sweden. You can find the timetables at www.nsb.no.

    The closest airport is Moss Airport Rygge with domestic and international flights. Oslo Airport Gardermoen is not that far, and you can catch the airport bus to this airport.
    Moss Hostel offers free pick up at Rygge Hostel, railway station and ferry. The pickup must be noticed in advanced.
